CCNA -

CCNA is an acronym that stands for Cisco Certified Network Associate. CCNA is the apprentice level of networking certification. If you have your CCNA, you are generally regarded as being a networking neophyte, with just enough training to be dangerous. The CCNA program is a popular way to get certified in networking, and has an extra cachet because it is administered by such a prestigious company as Cisco. Cisco instructors train people to get their CCNA certifications, and there is even computer simulation that helps students learn to do their lessons.

CCNA certifications may include basic courses on TCP/IP, routers, Frame Relay, and other aspects of computer networking. Exams are given for CCNA certification, and indeed there are practice exams administered by Cisco to give prospective CCNA candidates an idea of how well they are doing in the CCNA course. CCNA is such a big business that there are boot camps to help people get their certification, and router simulators that students can use to help them become proficient in CCNA material.
