The amusing thing about CRM is that even though CRM stands for four different sets of words, CRM always means just about the same thing. The bottom line is that CRM stands for keeping a business alive by keeping the customer satisfied. Keeping the customer satisfied is the bottom line for CRM. There may be many words to express the meaning of CRM, and many means of keeping the customer happy, but customer satisfaction is what CRM is ultimately all about. If you do not pay attention to CRM, you will eventually lose your business unless you run a monopoly that can thrive even if the customers think you are doing a horrible job.
