Ontario Income Tax -

It is a pain in the neck to have to pay Ontario income tax. Of course, if I lived in Victoria I would be paying British Columbia income tax, so I might as well stay in Ontario and pay Ontario income tax. Ontario income tax is no worse than the income tax in P.E.I. or Quebec, but Ontario residents have the advantage of living where all the excitement is. If you have to pay provincial income tax, you might as well pay Ontario income tax.

Of course, it would be lovely if there were no Ontario income tax. I wish a big philanthropist would finance the province, so Ontario income tax would not be owed anymore. Or here is a thought that would get rid of Ontario income tax. Instead of having Ontario residents pay their Ontario income tax, we could start taxing those rich American tourists a whole lot of money to come here. Then they could pay the money we need to finance Ontario, and Ontario income tax would be a thing of the past.
