Telemarketing is something that everyone hates except the people who are doing the telemarketing. Whenever people say they hate telemarketing, some telemarketer whines that he is just making a living and that people should be nice to him. I hate to sound unsympathetic, but telemarketing is the bane of American existence. Telemarketing is almost as bad as political correctness, but nothing is as bad as political correctness.

People who do telemarketing are so intent on making their own living that they do not care what you are doing to survive in your own home. If you are a night worker who is trying to sleep through the day, the people who are making telemarketing calls do not care. If you have just gotten your baby down after she has cried for three days with the colic, that is no concern to the people doing telemarketing. If you are handicapped and have a whole lot of trouble getting to a telephone, the people doing telemarketing want you to remember that they are just trying to make a living. Sorry to sound harsh, but people who do telemarketing should find another way to earn a paycheck.
