Minibus Insurance -

Minibus insurance is a vehicle insurance that covers minibuses. Minibuses are different from family vans in that they are usually purchased to carry people who are not members of the same family, such as school students or the elderly, from one destination to another. Because the liability is different on minibuses and minivans even though they may carry the same number of passengers, minibus insurance is often needed.

Minibus insurance may include breakdown service, which covers the towing and repair of a minibus in the case of accident or mechanical failure. In addition, the breakdown portion of minibus insurance would cover the transportation of passengers who are stranded because of the breakdown or accident.

Another feature of minibus insurance would be liability that would be incurred in an accident, especially when the driver of the minibus is at fault. This liability would include medical coverage as well as damage to or loss of personal property by the passengers or anyone else involved in the accident.

As with regular car insurance, minibus insurance would cover any damage to the vehicle, such as broken windshields or flat tires, that occur during the use of the vehicle.
